The purpose of this brown bag is to generate discussion related to gaps in research on multilevel preventive interventions targeting vulnerable and/or underserved populations (e.g., racial, ethnic, or socioecnomic) in a variety of settings (e.g., rural, urban) to enhance health and reduce disparities. The discussion will focus on issues related to: 1) conceptual or theoretical frameworks that inform interventions conducted at two or more levels (e.g., individual, organizational, community), and 2) methodological considerations in the design, implementation, and/or evaluation of these multilevel interventions.
