The purpose of this SIG is to explore how the multiphase optimization strategy (MOST) can be applied to build better multicomponent behavioral, biobehavioral, and biomedical interventions and improve existing interventions. Projects using MOST are currently funded by NIAAA, NIDA, NCI, NIDDK, and NHLBI. After a very brief (5 minute) introduction to MOST, we will spend the remainder of the hour brainstorming and discussing potential applications to the work of the attendees.
