Significant advances in developmental neuroscience point to exciting new leverage points to increase the impact of interventions for adolescents. In February 2016, a summit honoring Dr. Douglas Kirby brought together a transdisciplinary group of renowned neuroscientists and sexual health experts to discuss the implications of neuroscience research for the innovation of adolescent sexual health promotion. The first ten minutes of the SIG will present key findings from the expert meeting and the remaining time will be spent engaging the group in a dialogue on how these lessons can be applied to the development and enhancement of adolescent sexual health interventions.
