Articulation of State Government of Rio Grande Do Norte to Implement Public Policy of Prevention

The Brazilian territory has been presenting along the last years a growing number of persons with agravos social resulting from the abusive use of alcohol and other drugs. This scenery has been producing preoccupations for part of the public institutions. The State of the Rio Grande do Norte located in the region of the Brazilian northeast, with great territorial extension and great population concentration, presenting cultural diversity, socioeconômica and also social unequality. There is a scenery of social vulnerability pointing to the necessity of which the State Government creates strategies of transformation of this picture. the Public prosecution service of the State of the Rio Grande do Norte, while organ of the social control, it noticed that the local authorities were not offering public policies for prevention to the damages associated to the damaging consumption of drugs you bid and illicit, it prepared a project of state partnership to the governments and municipal in the interpartial form, wrapping the areas of the health, social work, justice and citizenship and youth. This project provoked the gestores to build public policies in the theme of the prevention. In continuation to this demand the State Government looked for support to the Federal Government in helping them in the incitement to this Public Politics. The National General office of Policies Sobre Drogas – SENAD, put in charge of advising the states and Brazilian local authorities is left to Politician on Drugs in national extent, it was operated by the Government of the Big Rio Grande do Norte for viabilizar strategies for the introduction of programs of prevention in the State. THE SENAD welcomed this demand, and secured partnership with the State Government and the local authorities of Christmas, Parnamirim and Mossoró, these cities that have more than 200 thousand inhabitants and are inserted in a federal program on drugs. The pactuação between the SENAD and the Government of the Rio Grande do Norte aimed at the introduction of Programs of Prevention to the abusive use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, when there are they, the” Jogo Elos” a cultural adaptation of Good Behavior Game-GBG, it “#tamojunto” adapted of the Unplugged and “Fortalecendo Famílias” of Strengthening Families proposed Programme based on evidences cientificas taking as a base the methodology of global social influence and his central axles if they support in the education, health and citizenship, promoting the effectiveness of the articulation between several social sectors.
