Aligning research programs and projects with federal funding opportunities is an important part of the grant process.  What are the current research priorities and opportunities at the agency you are most interested in?  Do your research interests match the mission of the funding agency you are considering?  Are funding opportunities available for researchers at your career level?  During this session, representatives from federal funding agencies will be available to discuss:  current research and strategic priorities; research and training opportunities, and other resources; and to answer your specific questions about the federal funding process.  A multiple roundtable format will be used with at least one representative from each of the following agencies/institutes present:  National Institutes of Health (NCI, NIAAA, NICHD, NIDA, NIH/OBSSR, NIH/ODP, and NIH/ORWH), Administration for Children and Families, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  The session will begin with introductions of federal staff, and then participants will breakout to meet with program staff at agency-specific tables for questions and discussion.
