Millions of dollars are invested every year to generate high quality research on important social problems. However researchers know little about who, how, and what conditions support productive uses of this research in policy and practice. The William T. Grant Foundation and the National Institute of Justice both have initiatives underway to build empirical evidence about these important questions. This brown bag has three goals, to describe these two funding opportunities, to share some emerging themes from the field, and to answer your questions about these initiatives. We hope you join us for this important conversation.
