This special interest group is designed to bring together individuals who are thinking about links between health and education at the research, practice, and policy levels. Possible discussion topics include: both how education is a social determinant of health and how health in childhood and adolescence affects educational experiences; ways in which health and education institutions can work together; and policies that may be mutually beneficial for both education and health outcomes across the life course.  Participants from diverse disciplines and backgrounds will be encouraged to share reflections from prior work, ideas they are currently exploring, and/or topics they hope to tackle in the future (perhaps even in collaboration with fellow attendees!).
