NAHDAP, located within the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research at the University of Michigan, acquires, preserves and disseminates data relevant to drug addiction and HIV research. By preserving and making available an easily accessible library of electronic data on drug addiction and HIV infection in the United States, NAHDAP offers scholars the opportunity to conduct secondary research.  The National Institute on Drug Abuse, part of the National Institutes of Health, funds NAHDAP.  NAHDAP, is an online resource for secondary data used to support addiction and HIV research.  The NIDA funded data archive program hosts a wide range of public use and restricted use data files.  This technical demonstration will provide an overview of the website and the tools available to assist researchers in locating drug abuse and HIV data collections on specific topics.  Customized sub-setting and on-line analysis will be shown as well.    Finally, the recently updated website includes new search capabilities and allows for variables comparisons across datasets.   Visitors will gain a better understanding of the NAHDAP website and tools found there
